Biografía de Medicine
Medicine is an American rock band formed in 1990 in Los Angeles, California, by guitarist and producer Brad Laner, known for pioneering a fusion of shoegaze, noise pop, and dream pop characterized by heavily distorted guitars, melodic structures, and ethereal vocals. The band's debut album, Shot Forth Self Living, released in 1992 on Creation Records in the UK and Def American Recordings in the US, established their sound with tracks blending raw noise and graceful pop melodies, drawing comparisons to contemporaries like My Bloody Valentine and Lush.
The band originally formed with Laner, vocalist Beth Thompson (who replaced early bassist Annette Zilinskas), and drummer Jim Goodall. Medicine released two more albums in the mid-1990s—The Buried Life (1993) and Her Highness (1995)—before disbanding amid label changes and internal shifts.
