Trabalhadores do Comercio were one of the icons of the 80s in the portuguese rock and pop music scene. The band made its first appearence in 1980, after releasing their first single in April: "Lima 5". The single was Top 1 for a few weeks in direct competition to David Bowie's Ashes to Ashes. The original line up included a young 7 year old kid as a singer. This same line up returned in 2005 for the comemorations of Coliseu do Porto 10 year buy out and released a single with "Cordabida"/"Febras de Sábadà noite" in 2006, followed by a double album in 2007: Iblussom. Well received by critics, the album just led the band to play several big Festivals during 2007 and 2008.
