Toly Fu: A Rising Star in Chilean Music
Toly Fu, whose real name is Oliver Alonso (or Oliver Paredes, according to some sources), is a Chilean singer who has made a name for himself in the music scene for his unique fusion of genres, especially urban ranchera and what he himself has called "country reggaeton" or "flaiticumbia."
From a very young age, Toly Fu had a strong inclination towards music. Although his family initially preferred him to pursue a more traditional career, his passion led him to follow his dream. Since he was little, he dreamed of performing concerts, singing with headphones on his bed. His interest in cumbia arose from seeing bands like Combo Tortuga and Santa Feria in high school, and he also developed a fondness for reggaeton. He has mentioned that he plays the trumpet and guitar. A pivotal moment for him was attending a Villa Cariño festival, which further motivated him to dedicate himself to music.
