I woke up this morning, of course the ground was covered in snow
I gotta go to work soon, and just like you I don't wanna go
I dropped my keys in the snow and it felt like it was 10 feet high

The snow is deep my shoes are stained with salt
My car wont start and I am not surprised

What a winter it's been and my calendar says it hasn't begun to start
I wanna say really sweet things, but my coffee cup rolled under the car
I cleaned my room on xmas, and the bank didn't wanna cash my cheque
I'll buy you a bottle of champagne, if it means that you'll come back

I spend too much time watching planes come and go
And not enough time just hanging out with you
I'm making myself nauseous again
Call me a sap and I'll wave hello
I've waited 6 weeks only a few more to go
I'm the king of catch phrases and rhymes

And you think that if I weren't with you my life would be easy
