The Magnetic North es una banda británica formada en Londres por el multi-instrumentista Simon Tong (ex-integrante de The Verve, Blur y The Good, The Bad & The Queen), el músico orcadiano Gawain Erland Cooper y la cantante, compositora y arreglista orquestal Hannah Peel. Lanzaron su álbum debut Orkney: Symphony of the Magnetic North el 6 de Mayo de 2012.
