I remember way back when I started getting involved
with all this. so many faces
I don´t see anymore. names were named followed by a tale,
"he even let his hair grow long".
I wonder what the one who told me that is doing now.
so what´s the score so far?
a hundred souls forgotten and a bunch of us
who are still trying to bring it down.
believe me it is hard keeping yourself toghether
while everyone else just falls apart.
the way things were, and the songs we´d sing,
and all the plans we´ve ever made,
every last promise unkept are all the memories you spoiled.
but here´s me, remember me?,
to remind you of all that cause it was there
and it was real just like you and me.
my days are running out
I´m trying to make them count in everything i do.
