I've just had a massive overdose of communication
My head feels like a basketball inflated with too much air
This whole day was too much input for me to take
It feels like i've been dreaming but i've been wide awake

But i'm still waiting for something to happen

I just got back from the club downtown
I had a few drinks with my friends and we just sat around
We sit and talk and smoke and drink,
And stare at people walking by with drinks in their hands
We strike up conversations although the music's too damn loud to understand

And if i need sometime to be alone don't get mad at me
I would be a lonely person if i couldn't spend time with myself
I know i'll be out tomorrow waiting for some new inspiration
I'll be looking for that massive overdose of communication
