But we still didn't talk for a couple of years

But you can neither give up or admit it's wrong
It's kind of funny because most nights I've got so much on my mind
But I feel alright or at least okay
But I still don't forget it
The longest night and the guilt that came with it

I spent half my life trying to figure it out
And the other half trying to believe in nothing
And when I wrote this down, I cried
And when we used to talk, I lied
And when I say that I don't care
I think I'm starting to mean it
I'm picking up those pieces well

And all I've got in this world
Is like thirty five dollars and a small amount of skill
So I don't mind
I'm staying home
Avoiding the things that make me hate the most
