Loudon Snowden Wainwright III (nacido el 5 de septiembre de 1946) es un cantante de música folk, humorista y actor estadounidense. Es el padre de los músicos Rufus Wainwright y Martha Wainwright y el ex marido de la cantante de folk Kate McGarrigle. Su hermana Sloan Wainwright también es cantante.
