Biografía de LCD Soundsystem
LCD Soundsystem es un grupo de Dance-Punk y Alternative Dance neoyorquino formado por James Murphy y Tim Goldsworthy. En las actuaciones en vivo, se les une Nancy Whang al teclado y a los coros, Pat Mahoney a la batería, Tyler Pope al bajo y Phil Mossman a la guitarra, a la percusión y al bajo. Murphy y Goldsworthy son también conocidos como el equipo de productores The DFA, y propietarios del sello del mismo nombre.
Es impresionante como cada legado es vuelto a retomar y como en esencia es identificable. Lo que cambia es la tecnología y obviamente la experimentación que permite llevar la imaginación mas lejos. Es ahí donde encaja nuestro tema central, James Murphy y LCD Soudsystem.
Este inglés radicado en Nueva York es el responsable junto con Tim Goldsworthy de uno de los sellos más arriesgados y prolíficos de los últimos tiempos, DFA (Death From Above). Se conocieron mientras Tim y David Holmes producian "Let´s Get Killed"(soundtrack de la película Ocean's Eleven)....
