Then I met a traveler, told me the world's much bigger than this
And he showed me his leather jacket and the handcuffs he broke off his wrist
So I snuck out the back door

But Mama stopped me from the window and she said go, but don't forget what you have

So I got drunk in a school zone
And I ran from the cops

I got high up in New York
I got low in Tennessee
It took bleeding on a bathroom floor to remember what my mama said to me
