I think i may be slipping
from old fashioned ways
i just can´t seem to pack it
in this new day and age.
i´ve got to get myself going
come on and get with the times
smarten up
get with the program
before i´m out of my prime

these days are flying out the door
i need something new to help me restore.
i´m not geriatric i´m not even grey
my years have plenty of gold
so why do i feel so old?

sometimes i get to thinking
what should i do with today
i need to stop thinking
go with my heart
not what my thoughts try to say

maybe someday i´ll climb up the latter
i´ll matter
i´ll get fatter
i´ll be sadder
no thanks
