Fitz and the Tantrums es un grupo de blues / indie pop proveniente de Los Ángeles, California , formada en el 2008. Su álbum debut , Pickin 'Up the Pieces , lanzado en agosto de 2010, ha recibido elogios de la crítica y alcanzó el puesto # 1 en el Billboard Heatseekers, han realizado giras en los Estados Unidos y el extranjero.
La banda está compuesta por Michael Fitzpatrick (voz y teclados), Noelle Scaggs (voz y percusión), James King (saxo, flauta, trompeta y armónica), Joseph Karnes (bajo), Jeremy Ruzumna (teclados) y John Wicks, ( batería y percusión).
