And some days feel so cold

I don't wanna lose my soul

And most days I feel numb
But right now I just need to find myself
Cause I hate the man that I've become

I've got anxiety from everyone who's lied to me
I used to be more open
Now I stay alone in privacy
When I was open people really never understood
Now I lie to people's faces and I say that I'm good
I wrote those lyrics in a notebook when I turned 14
Released some songs and realized how many people support me
And it was nice to know that despite me feeling like it
I'm not alone
But truthfully
I never found peace outside of the four walls of my home
A crooked head but straight smile will do the trick
Convince them I'm alright but in my stomach still be feeling sick
Affected by the way that my peers and my family view me
So I'll never give anyone the chance to know me truly
And maybe I'm a little bit overly insecure but
What's the right amount?
I'll never really be sure
So as time goes on I'll pray that I end up more like
