“Chichito" was a Puerto Rican percussionist. Luis Daniel “Chichito" Cepeda died in Redway, California. He was returning from a presentation and his car went down a cliff killing him instantly upon impact. “Chichito" was the youngest of the 12 sons and daughters of the late Rafael Cepeda and Caridad Brenes, who dedicated their lives to presrve Puerto Rican Black musical folklore. The most humble, decent person I have the honor to know from one of the Families that have spend their life preserving the history of Puerto Rican Afro music in the way that was play fron the first Africans brought the Island.
