We are frightened by the frailty of this life

When tragedy comes calling, it'll shake us to the core
Till the things we thought were solid aren't certain anymore
But even when our words desert us and our spirits groan
We are not alone

There are friends who offer comfort, and they mean well
But sometimes it's like salt inside a wound
